For One More Day

Well, it's been a while since I've even been on my computer much less on this site. I figured why not post something.

I just got back from Vegas for Miah's bachlor party, it was great! The drive up consisted of myself, Miah, Mike, and Victor. The drive was ok but half way through it Mike got grouchy so we had to stop and feed him. Otherwise our constant bugging might have led to him killing us all. Once in our rooms we waited for the rest of the party to arrive. Mike's brother shawn and his friend, who we later dubbed "Nova Scotia", were comming in from Japan. Mikes brother in law came from Ontario, Duvan came from Virginia Beach, and Miah's brother Josh and his friend were flying in from San Diego. Once everyone got to our room we continued with the cocktails and passed out the uniforms. Yada, Yada, Yada.... the hair started to grow back on the ride home, really uncomfortable.

It's been a while...

I did want to post a long, drawn out, and detailed entry today but I'm not. All of a sudden I got things thrown at me to deal with, I'll try later. Really, I will.

What's new?

Well lets see, what's new?

I went to the Los Angeles County morgue about a week and a half ago. My neighbor is an investigator there, so it was nice to have her available. It was really odd to see a bunch of bodies crammed into a crypt (a refrigerated room). They showed us some recent fatalities, including a gang banger that got shot in the eye. The bullit came out his temple, wasn't gross or anything, just weird. I also say some other stuff but will spare all who read this the details. Work has sufficiantly sucked ass lately. I'm in the process of finding another job in the mortgage industry. It's not really where I want to be right now with the market the way it is but it is what I know and proven to be successful at. I have a coupleof interviews scheduled and they actually seem promising, I won't hold my breath though.

Well, tonight I'm going out. What is it with getting asked to go out and not doing the asking myself? I'm blind! It'll be good to get out and have some fun. We've gone out before and really enjoyed ourselves, even if it was just lunch and hanging out. Ok, well that's it for now.

Side Note:

To whom this conserns,

I apologize for irritating you recently. However I don't feel that my request is too much to ask. I actually had a need for them. Although the time has passed I just don't want you to forget. You mean a lot to me and it would dissapoint me to have you upset with me over something like this. Wait till I do something really bad, then be angry.  Anyways, hope everything is good for you. I look forward to hearing from you, maybe even seeing you. Someday.

I really don't know what to write in this entry. I just figured I should enter something, you know what they say, if you don't use it it'll fall off!

So, work has been odd! A co-worker/friend of mine and I have found a few things we were told to be true are actually VERY false. I can't get into the details for confidentiality reasons, this being on the internet and all, but lets these are not minor issues. Now, because he and I are in the top percentage of the sales department we are being given, what I feel is, favoritism. Although, on the other hand we are being singled out too. We'll see how this pans out over the next few days. I've been doing some research into the written policies at work. I've found that many of the reasons employees have been let go, written up, or just reprimanded were not valid. Today I have been putting this all together to present to the owner of the company this Saturday at the monthly meeting. It should be very interesting, regardless of the side of the fence it pushes him to.

On a side note: Jennifer & I went to dinner at Taps this past Sunday. I really had a great time. We had good conversation (as usual), great food (oysters, cheviche, AMAZING clam chowder, etc.), and she did look beautiful. After dinner she drove to my house where I went inside and I got her a CD to put the pictures from our trip on. JEN IF YOU ARE READING THIS, HELLO! =) I'm kidding, kind of, when you get a chance Jennifer, thanks. After I gave it to her, I went inside and she went home I'm guessing, didn't ask nor have spoken to her since. Oh, briefly spoke to her when she called, Tuesday, to tell me the season premier of House M.D. would be on that night. I didn't watch it, recorded it on my DVR, may not watch it. Ehh whatever.

So, I think that's it for now. Oh, Taia? If you're reading this, Welcome!

I haven't posted anything for a while so here I go.

-My truck window was shot out by some random punks. they went on a shooting spree and a week after were caught. It was on the news and in the paper.

-A friend of mine told me someone I knew was murdered a couple weeks ago.

-Another friend left me a voicemail saying someone we grew up with is dead.

-Another friend is going into surgery in about a week and the doctor is not optimistic.

-Out of 65 Sales Associate I'm in the top 5 for saled for the month.

-My court case, (the one that fucked up things) driving with a suspended license, was dismissed.

-I was offered a Sales Managers job at a mortgage company. Don't know if I'll take it because I'm not seeing it being very rewarding, financially.

-I've sent out my resume to several mortgage companys with responses coming in only a day later.

That's all I can think of right now so that's it.
